Emarketing Tips for Today

Call to action

Make sure that no matter how you choose to get your message out - you include a call to action. Motivate the person looking at your ad, email or search listing with a coupon or special offer.

Good example:
Visit John Alpine's Outdoor Store and mention coupon code: Free Gloves.

Not-so-good example:

Visit John Alpine's Outdoor Store - we've got great stuff

Did You Know?

If you use all CAPITAL LETTERS in your subject line, that your email message has a higher chance of being classified as SPAM? Not to mention your recipient's feel as though you're shouting at them.

A truly dynamic duo: email and direct mail.

If you are a small business owner looking for a sure fire way to ramp up your sales, try reaching out to your customers with both email marketing and direct mail. By sending out an email and a postcard containing a coupon for an upcoming sale, you're sure to drive folks into your business one way or another. Get the word out, deliver the one-two punch.
